Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York New York U.S.A. is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney comes from a theatrical heritage, her father wrote plays Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City. In the year 1990, she began her career on Broadway eventually earning praise for her performances on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
